Mac Security

Torjan.MacOS.HistGrabber.MANP keeps popping up in trend as an issue.Its getting annoying. Any idea what I can do to stop this notification. It seems every time on wake from sleep the pop up is there. Any help would be great.

Has anyone else received a security report for someone else's computer?

Hi, today I purchased Trend Micro Antivirus for macOS. Just for the sake of curiosity I tried the website filter feature and after setting it to the max possible streght, I realized that it only prevent access to http sites. I can bypass the filter by just using https. Is this intended? 

apple says they use strong security of their devices , do I still need to install trend micro in a mac ?

one of my external hard drives will not mount on my iMac, can the drive be repaired, restored or the data transferred to another External drive..

Hi there, I get lots of unable to quarantine OSX_Genieo* messages. The location is in my Time Machine backups.  Is there a way to clean my Time Machine Backups?  Can I ignore these messages?

Just got a notification from Chrome that Trend Micro was attempting to install a tool bar and make other changes. It did this without my authorization.I don't think that's a good idea.

Since I installed Micro Trend, I get this message everytime ( On Safari and Google Chrome) I try to post to Instagram. Your post could not be shared. Please try again. I can post on my phone but not on my Apple Mac Pro laptop like I used to. When i turn off Micro trend I still can post on Instag
