Posting to Instagram

Since I installed Micro Trend, I get this message everytime ( On Safari and Google Chrome) I try to post to Instagram.

Your post could not be shared. Please try again.

I can post on my phone but not on my Apple Mac Pro laptop like I used to. When i turn off Micro trend I still can post on Instagram.

@tm_angelo

Dear Angelo,
Here is the info you requested.
When I go to create an Instagram post (on Google Chrome or Safari) I can add the image from my desktop file but cannot share it (see error screenshot attached). Sometimes I can't even do that. When I go to add the image I click to add it but nothing happens.
I have emptied my caches, uninstalled and reinstalled Google Chrome, cleared histories and turned my laptop off and on again. Nothing works, or it woks for a couple of times and then stops working again. I have tried turning off Trend Micro temporarily and then shutting down and restarting but that didn't work. Sometimes, it works on Safari but not on Google Chrome.
I am so frustrated. This has been a problem since I installed Trend Micro. It used to only happen on Google Chrome but now it is happening on Safari too.
Often I can't attach files or images to my Outlook emails on Google Chrome and I can't download images or files with Google Chrome. Also, I can't post images to Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn on Google Chrome. I have to use Safari instead.
Any help you can give me re. this issue would be most appreciated.
Regards,
Katherine Boland

Hi, kfboland

Can you try to disable the Trend Micro program to check if it's causing the issue? Here's how:

How to turn off Antivirus for Mac temporarily

Once disabled, try posting on your instagram account to check if the issue still the same even after the program is off.

Let us know how it goes.

@tm_rochelle Hi Rochelle, As stated in my original post, I tried temporarily disbaling Trend Micro but that didn't work either. Today, I am able to post on  Instagram on both browsers (Google Chrome and Safari) but that has happened before. Some days I can post and other days I get an error message and I can't add attachments to my Outlook emails or post on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn on Google Chrome.

Regards,

Katherine
