Welcome to Trend Micro Community!

 

You can try to restart Trend Micro's components by following the steps below:

  1. Open Spotlight, type Trend Micro Antivirus Diagnostic Toolkit, then press RETURN.
  2. On the General tab, select Stop Components.
  3. After 3-5 seconds, click Start Components.
  4. Close the Trend Micro Antivirus Diagnostic Toolkit then open Trend Micro Antivirus then check if you can now do an update.
