Torjan.MacOS.HistGrabber.MANP keeps popping up in trend as an issue.

Its getting annoying. Any idea what I can do to stop this notification. It seems every time on wake from sleep the pop up is there.

Any help would be great.

The Trorjan.MacOS.HistGrabber.MANP is a variant of the UpdateAgent trojan that targets macOS devices.

Here's what we need to do:

Clear downloads. Go to Finder > Downloads and delete the files you no longer need including .dmg files
Check for browser extensions. Safari > Preferences.
- Check the Homepage URL
- Go to the Extensions tab and uninstall unfamiliar extensions.
Remove suspicious apps. Go > Applications in Finder or use the shortcut Shift + Command + A. Uninstall unfamiliar Apps.
Empty Recycle Bin

We can also get a sample of the file so we can analyze it further.
