What is "search.myway.com"?

Twice in less than a month my homepage is being changed without my knowledge. The only way I can get rid of it is do a restore point that I know is ok. Did a search, and learned it is malware. I did a search on TM, and there is nothing. Is there a tool to remove malware?

Thanks for asking here! Regarding your myway search engine question, since this is a Browser Hijack issue, we suggest calling our support center directly to help you more efficiently. Here's a web page with our support contacts:
Ways to Contact Support (look for the "Call Standard Support" section at bottom left and choose "North America")

We're sorry we cannot help you here as solving this issue in community might take much longer. Thanks!

For the meantime, kindly reset the browsing history of your Internet browsers. You may follow the steps provided below.  For Chrome:

1. Click on Chrome at the upper left corner of your screen then click Clear Browsing Data....

2. Check the following:

  • Empty the cache
  • Delete cookies and other site data
3. Select the beginning of time in the drop down-box and click on the Clear Browsing Data button.

For Firefox:

1. In the menu bar, click on History Clear Recent History..

2. In the window that appears, click on the drop-down menu to the right of Time range to clear and select Everything. If necessary, expand the Details section and check both Cookies and Cache.

3. Click Clear Now. The progress wheel may spin for a few minutes, depending on how much data needed to be deleted. Once it has stopped, the process is complete.

For Safari:
1. Click Safari at the upper left corner of your screen. In the menu that appears, click Preferences.

2. In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab. Click the button Remove All Website Data....

3. Click Remove Now in the pop up window that appears.

Please restart your computer after resetting your Internet browsers.

Please let us know if this solution solves your problem.
Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Tom
