We understand that you wish to temporarily disable the Trend Micro protection. Please be reminded that by doing so, you will be vulnerable from threats.
To help you with this, you may try opening the Trend Micro Diagnostic toolkit by pressing and holding the Windows Key and hitting the R key to open the Run command. On the field, kindly type in supporttool.exe. If it asks for permission that it will be making changes, please proceed with Yes, or OK..
Once the tool is open, proceed with the Tab C (Uninstall) and there should be a button that says Stop All Components. This will disable the Trend Micro program and you just need to click on the Start All Components button on the same tool to have it enabled again.
Hi, admin. The simplest way is to do what Tom Emmelot advised. You can disable the Trend Micro program by right-clicking on the Trend Micro icon in the system tray, then choose "exit".

If you right-click the TM icon in the tray, you can choose "exit"
Later you can start the program again in the programs list.
Kind regards,
Tom
