Software update

The Trend Micro software completed did an update some days ago. The Trend Micro Icon in the task tray is now stuck saying "Upgrading to newest version." right click produces no options at all so I cannot exit it.

Welcome to TM Home users Community, a public site where volunteers try to help each-other , also there are TM Employees that can give answers, I am just a volunteer.

Type Win-key/R then type "Supporttool.exe" then Tab C,then Tab 5, way that the Tabs come on again, then Tab 4 and wait that the icon appears. Close the toolkit and try to start a update by Right-click the icon an click on Update.

It's a pleasure having both of you here in the community. If the above solution doesn't work, you can actually just reinstall a new version of Trend Micro if the "Supporttool.exe" fails to work. Please follow the links below to reinstall your Trend Micro:
