Welcome to TM Home users Community, a public site where volunteers try to help each-other , also there are TM Employees that can give answers, that is only at working hours. I am just a volunteer!
That's normal, go to the map: Mine is here: "c:\ProgramData\Trend Micro\AMSP\data\" you see 3 of them, go to the tray icon, Right click and click on Exit. Now 2 of them should disappear. Ok start TM again and they come back. after a while the disk use should be 0,1 Mbps. Like to here from you.
You may try the suggestion from Tom Emmelot, so we can see if that can help. On the other hand, the said behavior is normal for Trend Micro Security since it is used for precautionary measures against malware infection.
If you have any other concern or question, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
