The speed of scanning depends on many things including the size of your hard disk, number of data that you have and many more.
And since you have updated your Trend Micro program to the latest version, it contains the latest files needed to combat new viruses and protect your computer, and that is one of the possible reasons why its much longer to perform a full scan.
Another possible reason for this problem is that you have fully or partially installed a conflicting security software on your PC. Removing all other security software from the PC may fix this problem as well.
