Windows Firewall Control

Hello,

Following a clean install of Windows 10.
I installed my Trend Micro and my Firewall (Windows Firewall Control 4). I have put the firewall on the exceptions list, but every start up of Windows, Trend Micro reports Windows Firewall Control (wfc.exe) as a threat. I have to click 'open file' every time to allow it to run.
I have the same problem with Internet Download Manager (idman.exe), even though it is also on the excluded list!
Can you help please?
Thank you.

Thank you for the reply.

Can I say that this is a bit of a difficult way to add to the white-list!

However, I tried this but it did not help. Should I add the full path to the executable, as I just added the executable (e.g., wfc.exe)?

Update - after a couple more reboots the solution seems to have taken OK.

Shame this cannot be put into the user interface, it would make it much easier.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

@pragmatic  Appreciate your help again!

@crabtree24  Glad to hear the programs run smoothly after you add them to White List. For your feature suggestion, I will definitely report to our product development team to see how to make white listing easier. Thank you!

If it were added to the user interface it would make the software an excellent piece of security software, maybe it is the only thing it is lacking!
