Trend Micro slows down Canon scanning to o much

Hello, in the last 4 weeks my Canon flatbed scanner (Lide 400) has been unbearably slow (took 40 secs to display the scanned image). After trying EVERYTHING I solved the problem instantly after I switched off Micro Trend (Maximum) Security. 

Is this a known issue? ARe you able to solve it or should I continuing disconnecting Micro Tren each time?

I want to stress that my PDF scans are average size and the problem has never occurred before in my past 10 years and more Trend Micro subscription

To further check, please provide the follow information:

  1. The Version of your Trend Micro software. 
  2. If it doesn't have the latest version yet which is 17.8.1139, upgrade to the latest version and check if issue will improve.

Note: To start the update manually, you can go to the About Page to upgrade to the new version.
