Trend Micro is slowing down my New Laptop

 This is not the normal behavior of the Trend Micro Security program. 

• We can try to turn it off to check if the laptop's speed will improve and isolate if it's the one causing the problem. Here's How to turn OFF Trend Micro Security on Windows.
• New laptops sometimes have preinstalled Antivirus programs. Here's How to remove programs incompatible with Trend Micro Security.
• Install the latest update. Here's How to update Trend Micro Antivirus on Windows
• Restart your computer and monitor the speed.

Same thing happened to me after the last Update.  I'm running Windows 10.  Spent over 2 hrs with a Tech remotely in my computer checking things out then finally doing an uninstall & reinstall. He told me that I had all the updates and would not need anymore.  Well, the next day up comes a popup telling me I had to update!  Nothing has changed.  I just had a new SSD installed & everything was fast &working until the update.  Now, I'm back to where I was agonizingly slow & I think worse off than before!  There is a large lag when clicking on icons whether just on my computer or online sites....forget it!  Ridiculous.  The tech did everything you were just told for me, & STILL not fixed. It all started with the last update.  I'm not installing it  again.  FIX this problem please!
