Trend Micro causing my computer to freeze intermittently

My Trend Micro Internet Security is causing my system to freeze intermittently. Some times when surfing on the net, be it IE or Chrome it can freeze for 10 to15 seconds. When playing game like World of Tanks, it will also freeze for that moment and at times cause me to loose the game.

When I exit or stop Trend Micro from the Task tray, I do not encounter this freeze problem. Please assist, thanks.
