Trend Micro 2022
Trend Micro 2022 is out...but nothing from what we discussed here has been implemented:
- checking for updates after boot is still set for 10 min instead of 1-2 min as has been requested
- items restored from quarantine (logs) are still labeled "removed" even though they were restored, creating confusion after months and months
- not selecting "Automatically delete files which shows any sign of threat" does nothing; files are still removed automatically
Seems like is a futile exercise to try to improve TM .

Whatever it has been suggested is "common sense" and doesn't require any "in-depth research and testing";
Marking a file restored as "Restored" rather than maintaining "Removed" has been requested 2 years ago; it is implemented in Windows Defender, where a restored file is marked "deleted or restored" rather than "removed"
Truth is nobody gives a rat's ass on our suggestions.
