Top Scams and Phishing Schemes of the Week | Selfridges, Wells Fargo, Apple ID, Netflix, and Mercedes-Benz
Scammers are everywhere. They will attract you with their tricks and attack you with their schemes. Don't give them a chance!
This week, our Trend Micro Check Team found a large number of scams to watch out for!
Fake Selfridges “Partnership” Email Scam
The scammers will send an email inviting you for a "long-term partnership". They will ask for your personal info and other details. Make it a habit to always check the sender's email address to look for misspellings, additional or missing letters, and extra words in the domain name.

Wells Fargo Phishing Texts
Scammers will falsely claim that there are security issues with your account and that you immediately need to act on it!

Apple ID Phishing Texts
Posing as Apple, scammers will send you fake Apple ID security alerts via text messages to lure you to click on a phishing link.

Netflix Reward Email Scam
This is not the first time our Trend Micro Check Team warned us about Netflix phishing emails, and this week they have a new scheme going around. They now have an exclusive reward just for you! (more of a fake reward to get your personal details). They will do everything to make sure you'll click on the embedded button and make you answer the fake online survey:
Mercedes-Benz Lottery Scam
Here's another famous bait “You have 24 hours to claim this Prize!”.
