TM Maximum Security continuously failed I tempted to install the pop-up ransomware option for Chrome.
When I opened the main console and clicked on "Set up folder shield", pretty well nothing happened except a Chrome window opening.
Directly after that my TMMS repeatedly failed, and prompted for a PC restart to resolve it, but restart repeated the fail and prompt.
Was this a scam? does TM offer an additional ransomware shield for Chrome?
A complete re-install was the only solution.

Hi pglennox,
Folder Shield can be enabled from the main console not on Google Chrome. But it's possible that the page redirected you to Chrome to show the instructions on how to enable it.

To clarify as well, there's no need to reinstall the program to enable Folder Shield since it's an existing feature you just need to turn it on.
