Great move on prioritizing your device's security! Your proactive stance contributes to a safer digital experience.
Here are some insights for your inquiry:
Firewall Configuration: Trend Micro Security has a behavior monitoring to detect and block suspicious activities or behaviors from applications that may indicate a threat.
Gaming Security: You may utilize Trend Micro's Mute Mode feature. This feature stops less important pop ups from interrupting you while working or playing games on Windows PC. You may check the article on how to use mute mode by clicking the link below.

Regular Updates: It is generally recommended to have the latest Windows updates installed on your system. These updates often include security patches, bug fixes, and improvements to the overall performance and stability of your operating system.
Updates may briefly disrupt usage, but the security, performance, and new features they bring typically outweigh inconveniences. It's advisable to keep your system updated for a secure and optimized computing experience.

Firewall Configuration
There is no "Firewall Configuration" in TM
seek advice and recommendations
Just be aware that TM updates its signature 10 min after boot; so, in theory , if you did not use your PC for a week, first 10 min will run with definition one week old.
This you can change it in registry, to update in first 45-90 sec after boot.

"Although just a kind reminder, not everyone is equipped with the knowledge and familiarity to modify the registry"
That is true, so why is TM so obstinate to maintain a 10min update after boot when most of modern PC's boot in less than 30 sec, so 1 min will be enough???
