Results Window is frozen after MALWARE SCAN and DUPLICATES SCAN

Twice today, once after scanning for viruses/malware and another after scanning for duplicate files, the results window is frozen in that the cursor nor keyboard are able to interact with the window. This is very frustrating after the duplicate scan, especially waiting for several hour for it to finish. Any ideas on a fix or the cause?
