Restart browser pop up
At start up, the pop up "Please Restart Your Browser" appears. It's apparently referring to Firefox but clicking the "Restart Now" button has no effect and the pop up reappears after shut down or restart.

I get that too but for Adobe. At least once or twice a month. Weird. When I do update, it states that I have to be logged in as an Administrator. Mine is a home computer and I am the only one that has a sign on or uses this computer.

Hi, @rglimpse55!
Can you check the version of your Trend Micro program? Here's How to check if you have the latest version on Windows.
Is the Trend Micro toolbar enabled on your Firefox browser?
1. Click the menu button, click Add-ons and Themes, and select Extensions.
2. Scroll through the list of extensions and look for Trend Micro if it's enabled.

Got same issue, randomly!
Tried some fix like reinstall TM Max sec and browser reset!
Also try these steps: Please Restart Your Browser pop up from Trend Micro | Trend Micro Help Center
Issue still persist!
Here a screenshot!

Greetings,
I just installed Windows 11 (on erased SSD) and the TMMS installation was done as soon as the Windows updates was finished.
I also exactly followed Your steps above, but the problem is still there. Folder shield icon badge is missed on the protected folders. (See s.shot)
So, …are the folders really protected or it’s just the icons shield badge missed?
