Folder Shield
I want to decide whether to add the Folder Shield protection to my Trend Micro antivirus. Does Folder Shield block, and thus require additional keystrokes in connection with, ordinary tasks such as: (1) accessing a protected folder, (2) modifying and saving files inside the protected folder, (3) downloading or copying files into the protected folder, (4) etc.?

Welcome to the Community.
The Folder Shield is designed to protect your files from being modified by unknown processes.
You do not need any special configurations for this feature to work. As simple as enabling it and choosing the folders to protect is all that you need to do.
