files in my vault

Hi,

After the vault feature was removed, I was able to find my document.

But for some reason, I cant open them.

what can I do?

Welcome to Trend Micro Users Community! 

May we ask if the files that you are unable to open are the files that are in the "Unprotected Files" folder on your desktop screen? If not, please indicate the exact location of the folder where you found the files.

 

Anyway, do you find the files on C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\Trend Micro\Vault\DataFile? If yes, I suggest that you install the older version of Trend Micro that has Trend Micro vault, get the files inside the vault, and then upgrade again to the latest version.

 

You may follow these steps:

Step 1: Install the old version and Stop Trend Micro Auto Upgrade.

Step 2: Unlock Trend Micro vault and get all the files.

Step 3: Upgrade to the latest version.
