End of Support for Internet Explorer and your Trend Micro Security Program

Hi Everyone,

Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) reached its End-of-Support on June 15, 2022. This means IE 11 will no longer receive any security updates and Microsoft 365 apps/services will no longer work with IE 11.

Internet Explorer users are recommended to upgrade their browsers to Microsoft Edge for a better browsing experience and security.

What will happen to my Trend Micro Security programs?
Trend Micro Security 2021 and Password Manager will still be available for the said version in consideration to users who cannot upgrade to Microsoft Edge immediately. Limited technical support will still be provided for issues encountered on Internet Explorer 11.

i tried to activate the trend micro I bought and it won't do it How can I get it to activate?

Hi @lin6cr,

Welcome to Trend Micro Home Users Community!

To activate your Trend Micro license, you will need to do the following:

1. Go to our Activation Portal.

2. Enter your activation key/serial number. 

3. Select the checkbox for the Trend Micro License Agreement, then click Next.
4. Sign in with your Trend Micro account.
5. Fill out the required information, then click Next.
