Hi how2win!

May I know what happens when you choose to right-click the icon then open it? is there a Trend Micro process showing in the task manager?

Can you try to restart its components? here's how:

  1. Press the Windows & R key at the same time. The run window will appear, type there supporttool
  2. Allow Diagnostic toolkit to run, click OK
  3. Click the (C)Uninstall tab then click STOP ALL COMPONENTS.
  4. Wait for 2-3 minutes, then click START ALL COMPONENTS.
  5. Check if the Trend Micro logo will appear in the system tray.

If it's not opening kindly refer to the steps on this guide too - Cannot open Trend Micro Security for Windows

Hi, how2win

3. Right-click the Trend Micro Maximum Security program.
4. Click more then click open file location.
