Constantly getting popups to restart my browser (Chrome) or my computer (HP Pavilion)

Constantly receiving messages that my protection is disabled, and I need to restart my browser or my computer. This didn't start until my free trial was up and I paid for 1 year.  It is super annoying because it keeps telling me I'm unprotected.  Another popup tells me TrendMicro can't connect to the internet when I am using my computer ONLINE.  Clearly, I can connect to the internet.  I'm seriously thinking about ending my service with TrendMicro.

You can try 's suggestion. You may also try to follow these steps below:

  1.  On your keyboard, please press the Windows icon and R key at the same time.
  2. Type supporttool and click OK. 
  3. Click Yes when the User Account Control window appears. 
  4. On the Diagnostic Toolkit window, click the (C) Uninstall tab, then click 5. Stop all components
  5. Wait for a minute, then click on 2. Delete Now and 3. Delete Now 
  6. Wait for another minute then open the Trend Micro app.
  7. Click the Human icon on the upper-right. Choose About the Software and wait for the update to finish.
