"please connect to the internet to maintain protection"

Trend for some reason disconnects from the internet and the icon has a yellow dot on it, if I hover the mouse over it, the message say "please connect to the internet to maintain protection"
But I am connected to the internet, I don't have any connection issues, it only Trend Micro that wont update or scan.

How do I keep Trend connected without discounting itself?

If your Trend Micro software is already updated to the latest version which is 17.7, you can follow the instructions in the link below to solve the concern.

This happens when your Trend Micro program is not up-to-date. It seems that you are still using the old version of Trend Micro, so we advise you to upgrade to the new version that has just been released. You can refer to the link below for detailed steps: How to install Maximum Security
