I can't seem to get the browser extension back ??

I got an error message when I tried to open my password manager so I followed the suggested steps and uninstalled it and reinstalled it and the browser extension has disappeared and I can't seem to get it back.
I have fumbled through as many efforts as I can and just cant seem to get it back, not being a pc wiz kid I am having trouble and desparately need help.
