Honestly the more I block sites and report the more spamming and junk emails I get!

really over it and thinking that trend just isn’t working for me!

its beyond annoying and frustrating.
ive actually had enough

Hi @sueyoucanttouchthis

I understand the frustration with spam despite blocking sites and reporting. Here are quick tips:

  1. Consider using a secondary email for online activities.
  2. Unsubscribe from unwanted emails.
  3. Be cautious with sharing your email online.

You may visit this link for more details: Proven Ways to Get Rid of Annoying Emails | Trend Micro Help Center

Hope this helps!

Hi @timmccallum,

Welcome to Trend Micro Home Users Community!

For confirmation, are you unable these websites when your Mobile Security's Web Guard is enabled?

If yes, can you please provide the link of these sites so we can replicate this on our end.

Make sure that your Mobile Security is up to date as well.

Hope this helps!

Hi @timmccallum

I would appreciate obtaining the following details for a more in-depth investigation:

  1. The version of your Trend Micro Mobile Security for iOS.
  2. The sample website or the URL you are attempting to access.
  3. The browser you are currently using.
  4. Any blocking page or notification from Trend Micro that you encounter when trying to access the website.

Hope to hear from you soon!

I'm assuming that is the reason. The local newspaper site is one example - thewest.com.au . It is happening on many links too.

Hi @timmccallum,

Thank you for the information, however, we still need the version of the app.

Here's how you can check the version:

  1. Open the Mobile Security app.
  2. From the features list, tap Settings.
  3. Scroll down, then tap About.

Looking forward to your response.

Installed this POS about a week ago, has slowed my phone down to the point of being unusable. In addition every time I look there seems to be another popup from trend trying to sell me something else, calendar protection, text/sms, phone……Thinking really hard about going elsewhere for something from norton, mcafee ….. hate this crap. In addition i caught them charging me $99 for my yearly renewal when I could get a new download and account for less than half. When I asked WTF I was told because I had signed up for auto renewal. So heads up they screw returning customers.

BTW Ive had this on my PC since 2014, so I’m not a neophyte as they’ve labeled me and several others.

Hi @steveegg2002,

Welcome to Trend Micro Home Users Community.

This neophyte badge is available to all new users of our Community Forums. Instead of the duration of a customer's stay, it levels up dependent on the user's participation.

Regarding to the automatic renewal concerns, Users are free to disable automatic renewal for any Trend Micro account, and can manually renew the membership if they are uncomfortable with the automatic renewal fees.
