Calendar- backdated fake events (2016)
I occasionally search for certain events in my calendar (which is set up for scanning in TM). Interestingly I found numerous fake events relating to sales back in 2016 that showed numerous emails similar to my own. TM only scans the past 30days…has anyone else reported fake invites and events being added years ago?

These events related to Black Friday & Cyber Monday Sales…stuff there was not there previously and I have no interest in. Sender was also in another language. I could report as junk and remove in iPhone but is TM aware of this potential (to backdate into calendar and potentially use that to access devices) or am I just being overly concerned…

Thank you for raising this in our community.
Calendar Guard can only scan the past 30 days of calendar events. It checks if there are malicious URLs in the calender content and fields.
If you are getting similar calendar events back in 2016, possible that you are subscribed to spam calendar events. You can unsubscribe from events via the Calendar app.
