VPN will not connect on android

Went on line. Followed directions of deleting VPN and reopened still will not connect. Keeps saying try again. Problem only arose since latest upgrade of app.

Hi @jeffd0077

May we know the version of your VPN application as of now and also the model of your Android phone so that we can check the issue? Perhaps the network is unstable when the issue occurs.

Could you try restarting your Wi-Fi router and see if you get the same issue.

This is the 2nd time I have responded. It was not a network issue. I have version 5.8.1033. As stated I did everything that was recommended to no avail. Had to solve issue by uninstalling the app and then reinstall. This also happened on a second Android device, which I had to uninstall and the reinstall. At time times it is still disconnecting itself.

Hi @jeffd0077 and @otterkennedy,

Do you happen to have Trend Micro Mobile Security installed on your device? Because it is also running a VPN feature. Please double-check for any other VPN application from your device as it only requires one VPN per device for it not to disconnect itself.
