Energy saving mode cannot be turned off

I noticed that the problem only occurs when I activate the Webguard VPN because the energy saving mode can no longer be switched off when using the VPN.

If I disable the Webguard VPN, the problem disappears and the power saving mode turns off.

Device: Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro

Android: 12

Security Version: 2.689.00

Is it possible to activate the VPN and let the app run in the background?

Could you try enabling Autostart on your device to see if the issue still persists? Here's a quick guide:

1. Open up your System settings.
2. Tap on Permissions, and then hit Autostart.
3. Hunt down Trend Micro Mobile Security in the list, and flip the switch to turn it ON.

Give it a shot and let me know if that resolves the issue. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tip.  Now the software is at least running permanently in the background 🙂 Unfortunately it didn't solve the problem with the VPN 😔 Thanks anyway for the tip.
