App No Longer Compatible with Your Device
I have been unable to update the paid version of Trend Micro Maximum Security in the Goggle Play Store. It now states that the app is no longer compatible with the device and to contact the app company.
I am using a Lenovo M7 (Gen 3) (TB_7306B) running Android 11 (Go Edition). I have just installed the latest software update for the tablet but this has not solved the issue.
When I purchased this tablet last year the Trend Micro app updated with no problem.
Can anyone advise how to fix this issue?

Hi Gearrb,
Upon checking with the developers,
Android Go and Android One OS have strict limitations for apps running in the background.
So most Trend Micro Mobile Security features that need to run in the background won't work on Android Go and Android One.
Due to OS limitations Trend Micro Mobile Security for android is currently not supported on these OS.
We will update our knowledge base page for this info.
