unable to quarantine

What do I do when Trend Micro finds a threat on my Seagate backup disk and it tells me that it is "unable to quarantine?

Hi jack4075,

Have you already ejected the disk when it is scanned and quarantined? try to run a scan again while it's connected and check if the issue persist.

Here's a guide into using the quarantine list of Antivirus for Mac.

I have the same message for Trojan.HTML.PHISH.TIAOO in my backups. I'm on a iMacPro running catalina 10.15.4 and have a dedicated external dual hard drive running backups in RAID O, mirrored drives.

How do I delete this threat? If it is not quarantined isn't it still a threat?

DO I need to reformat my extenral drives?

Hi, WRB!

Please try to manually delete this threat that is being detected by the program. You may also delete the backup and create a new one to resolve this.

Should you need further assistance, please feel free to reply to this thread.
