Payguard not working

Hi

My Payguard has stopped working. I have used it for years. Now it doesnt come up on my banks or other web pages such as ebay etc..

I have gone into Privacy, I have readded my bank web address. Pressed ok.

Gone into my banks web address and it doesnt come up. It used to default my registration number and password. Its not doing that now.

I have the latest version.

I have Microsoft Edge. It was working last week?

The Unable to open up the Trend Micro Payguard issue is currently under investigation. We are actively monitoring it. I will submit this case to our product and development team.

Same with me using Windows 11. It was OK up to a week ago but has stopped bringing up my saved websites in Payguard screen.

@franksharp they have told me its a known error and they are working on it... better hurry up before someone hacks my bank web site due to not having it!

Browsers these days (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) are safe enough to allow bank transactions without any "third party" payguard.

Hi @wandrea246,

The problem with opening Trend Micro Payguard has been fixed by updating the Trend Micro antivirus software. Please make sure your antivirus is up to date. The current version is 17.7.1634. Here's How to update Trend Micro Antivirus on Windows.

If you still have the same concern after installing the latest update, please answer the following questions:

Is there an error message when you try to use Trend Micro Pay Guard?
What is your default browser? Is it up-to-date?
Did you install the Trend Micro Toolbar on your web browsers? If not, here's How to add Trend Micro Toolbar on Windows web browsers

Yes, Trend Micro is up to date. Has current 17.7.1634

Default is Chrome and it too is up to date

Trend Micro Toolbar has been installed for years on Windows Chrome Browser.
