Downloading on new lenovo computer with windows

Trying to download Trend Micro to new Lenovo computer with windows. It will be the 3rd device on my subscription. When i try to open downloaded file, i get a message that windows does not recognize the app and won't download. Any solutions?

Hi @recherd ,

Considering that your Lenovo laptop is still new , have you checked if there are any pending Windows updates? If yes , kindly download and install them first and try to install the Trend Micro Antivirus again.

Alert...Problem Solved

When I looked up Windows Version I discovered that Windows was in "S" mode so it wouldn't allow any apps not verified by Microsoft to be installed. Switched out of "S" mode. Download worked just fine. Thanks for your interest in helping.
