Detect web threat error

I have installed TM on another device and an error appears when trying to enable Dtect Web Threats.

When i tick the Detect Web Threats box a msg appears:

  • "Unable to make the requested change. Select a different setting and try again. If the problem persists please contact Trend Micro for help"

Does anyone know how can I rectify this?

Hi @adgx3,

Sometimes, you might have to temporarily turn off your Antivirus One for certain reasons. This could be to make your computer faster, install new software, or resolve problems.

To temporarily turn off the Antivirus One app, do the following:

  1. Locate the menu bar icon at the top of your screen.
  2. Right-click the icon to access the context menu.
  3. Among the options, click Quit to turn off the Antivirus One.

    Quit Antivirus One

  4. Then try again.

Hi thanks for the advice, I went one step further, I uninstalled it and resent the share/link to the device, reinstalled it and its up and running correctly now.
