UID does not comply with IMAP standard

I keep getting a Message, "Your server reported a UID that does not comply with the IMAP standard. This typically indicates a server bug. Details are MsgSeqNum 2388, New UID 742145. Prev UID: 742141, Next UID: 742145. Protocol: IMAP Server: imap.comcast.net Port: 993 Error Code: 0x800CCCDC

The error that you are receiving is more of a software issue rather than a virus issue. The software in question is the email client that you are using. If you are using Microsoft Outlook, I would advise contacting Microsoft's support so that they can analyze the error message.

Thanks for your quick response...I'll do what you recommend. Probably happened when I replaced my hard drive.
