On my wife's laptop when she is in Explorer or Edge she get a box that says:
This site says ...
**** Don't restart your computer****
Windows has detected Zeus Virus ... call technical support +1-888-324-2483. If you try to click past it you get a blue screen that looks a little like a blue screen of death and you cannot get out of it without killing it in task manager. But it comes back when you open IE or Edge.
Any idea how to get rid of this?

Thanks for contacting us! This is a scam web page. We've been seeing more of these technical support scam web pages recently. Some of them are simply web pages with the scam info, and some others are more sophisticated that are from installed potentially unwanted programs / toolbars. We have an FAQ that has related info on this -- Seeing BSOD full screen message, what to do. Anyway, whatever you do, please do not call the toll free number.

For the issue you're encountering, it's possible the web page has changed the default home page of your browser to that website. This can be corrected by resetting home pages in IE and Edge. Though it's possible the solution is not this simple.

Since you're a subscriber of our premium support service, and that your Security Health Check Service token will be expiring when your Internet Security license expires in July, I highly recommend you to use the health check service to perform a check of your wife's PC to make sure everything is secure. During the health check service, after granting permission to our support engineer, the engineer will remotely access your wife's PC to perform the check up for you, and make any required adjustments. Here's the web page that has the Premium Support hotline for North America:
Ways to Contact Support
("Call Premium Support" section is at the bottom right of page)

You can also call the Premium Support hotline at any time 24x7 to ask about security-related questions.

Thanks and please do feel free to post questions or report issues here in this community in the future.
