Your latest update 4/11/17 seems to have stopped internet explorer from loading.

Since the latest update on 4/11/17 I can no longer get access to explorer. It starts to load and then request recovery of page. Any site that I go to is the same it starts to open but wont go any further.  Did a restore and got explorer back but now the open main console of trend does not work.

Do a uninstall and following points,

STEP 1: Run the Remnant File Remover Tool
Please click here to download the tool

STEP 2: Run the Permission Tool
Please click here to download the tool

STEP 3: Clear the Temp Folder

  • Press the Windows button on your keyboard and letter "R" both at the same time to open the Run console.
  • Once the Run Console is open, type: %temp%
  • Click OK
  • Doing that will open the "Temp" folder. Please delete all files inside that folder
STEP 4: InstallTrend Micro Maximum Security 2018
Please click here to download the installer file. Please make sure that you will use the installer file from the download link provided in this post.

explorer? explorer.exe? the one that handles UI of windows?
or do you mean internet explorer? if it is internet explorer though, why are you still using internet explorer?

anyway make sure to update internet explorer to the latest version. it should work probably.
or better yet just use modern browsers like mozilla firefox, google chrome or microsoft edge

It is Microsoft edge.  I did a system restore and it now functions fine again.  But the trend micro open main console comes up blank and cant be deleted from the x in the top corner, only from the tool bar. The latest update of trend does seem to be in place though.
