IE11 infected with www-searching.com.  Became infected while running Trend Micro Maximum Security Version: 10.0.1186.  Cannot remove and re-install IE11 via Windows features because the IE11 version is "updated"1. (Wont allow IE11-Windows.exe to run).  Installed and ran HouseCall.  Waste of time.  Why didn't Trend Micro stop the infection?

I have the same problem and TM did nothing to stop this. what can I do, please help. Spyhunter.com found this but I really don't want to buy another program. when Tm should be doing this. 64 files with searching.com crap

I chatted yesterday and person had no clue, so I gave up and restored my computer to a week ago, which seem to have fixed it.
I did not want to pay extra to spyhunter, who did have a fix, unlike TM.
Sad .....been with TM since the 1990,s, when they knew what they were doing.

@memkr4  Very sorry to hear about your support experience. We have resolved www-searching cases for our customers in the past, which were mostly provided via both chat and remote assistance. We do not have the detail of your support case and actions performed, as we're not able to locate a case number and history using the email ID you used to post here.
