Keep getting a pop-up that says that the application is out-of-date, and needs to be updated, but, when I click on the "Update Now" button, the program closes, and nothing happens.

That would soil my underwear.  I doubt that it is Trend that wants you to update, & some hacker just wants you to click something.

Discovered the problem.  Trend Micro had upgraded the software . . . but had not told me (even though they have my e-mail address.)  I just had to go to their website and do an upgrade (which involved an Uninstall, and the installation of the upgrade).  Trend Micro: next time, give us a head's up will ya?

I'm getting the same problem. Does that mean I have to do an uninstall/install upgrade???

Actually, it turns out they had a "hotfix" that solved it, without doing an uninstall and full install.
