With my recent reinstallation the quick scan has become very slow

The speed of your computer and the size of the file being scanned are the main factors that affects the speed of your scan process. If the scan finished and gave you a result, you basically don't have to worry about anything. However; if the scan stopped or hanged in the middle of scan process and didn't gave you any result, this means there might be a problem with the file being scanned or with the Trend Micro software installed on your computer.

Can you give us more information about your concern so that we can assist you accordingly?

I might be wrong but I thought Microsoft did not support Windows 7 anymore!

Hi jdstroopy,

Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 are still supported by Microsoft. They only dropped their support to Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 8.
