Why no NAS scans?!

So far i like the program, it's fast and efficient and i like the tune up and password managers.  My main issue is that the program does not automatically scan my NAS drives.  I have multiple drives with more than 80 TB of data. Kaspersky was a pain, but  at least it scanned the NAS storage devices as part of my system.  Granted, I can manually click on and scan those drives, but it would provide me piece of mind to have it included in my system scan.

Hello eugene.burston and welcome to the community.

Thanks for asking here.

Including NAS drives on the scan process might affect the performance of the whole computer. Scanning the machine plus the 80 TB will consume a lot of time and it will surely affect you, as the user of the computer. That's why it is manually triggered only, so you can choose the best time to do the scan for the NAS drives.

Alternatively, you can try to set a scheduled scan for your NAS Drives instead, refer to the link below.

I hope this clarifies your concern.

Thank you and have a great day!
