why has pc keeper popups and ads taken over my computer when I am running trend micro

what details do you want I have trend micro and now whatever I open I get pc keeper

Thanks for asking your question in our community! For your question, there're software out there that are categorized as Potentially Unwanted Application (PUA). PUA software typically does provide workable features, but is a channel to mislead users to view ads, display popups, or click on dangerous websites. PUA software are usually installed as an option along with other free software. Most people do not uncheck the option and that's how these PUAs end up in customer PCs. Because PUA software features function normally, Trend Micro will not detect it as a malware and therefore will not block it. PCKeeper is a PUA software.
