I know what the message means and why it would pop up, that's not the issue.
The issue is that it happens basically everyday.
I hardly ever switch my PC off, but every evening I get home, trend wants to restart my PC again.
Are you saying that Trend drops complex content updates that require a PC restart everyday?

After reinstalling the program, are you still getting the same Restart Required message? 

It would be nice if we can get some updates about this.

I reinstalled but the issue popped up again a few days later.I was also having issues with Trend removing files that it deemed dangerous, I constantly had to restore and allow these file but, sure thing, the next day it was removed again.
I eventually solved the issue by uninstalling Trend and purchasing and installing Kaspersky.

I called today and was told to check for updates I did and then followed the instructions updates complete . . . Tech said that should care of problem then 3 hours later same thing again need to restart computer for updates this is getting me upset I have little patients for calling for help and being on the phone for hours and no satisfaction, day after day.  Please re-fund my money or fix this problem.
