Why does Trend Micro Maximum Security 2017 NOT WORK

I am told to restart, connect to internet, update, run housecall - nothing actually gets Trend running what is going on!!!!!!!

The OS your on
The TM version you are using
If you got a error on the screen can you make a screen shot.

According to your account information, the expiry date of your Maximum Security was on 2016-12-31. We are afraid that the issue you have been encountering is due to the expiry date.

If you already purchased a new license, please do the following to see if the problem is solved:
