Why do I have to go into Trend Micro to get my protection started every day.

Why do I have to go into Trend Micro to get my protection started every day, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day, this just started a couple weeks ago. It started automatically for a couple of weeks after I posted this question a few weeks and now I have to start it every single morning.  I don't like this at all, my computer should be automatically protected 24/7...period

Trend disagrees with me, but I don't see Trend starting/updating on its own in recent years. The last update killed the sound on my computer, & Trend techs spent the better part of the day fixing that---but now I do not have a Trend icon & manually starting/updating has become a big deal.
