Why did Trend Micro not block us.4yendex.com from taking over my Windows Edge browser and how can I remove it

The reason why it wasn't removed by Trend Micro is it is actually not a malware, but a website redirection issue bundled with a malware program.

All these instructions are for IE, Firefox or Chrome but not for Microsoft Windows Edge which is where my hijack happened.

You can actually do the same thing on your Microsoft Edge (e.g. reset and change the homepage).

I believe your best bet is to contact Microsoft US directly using this number: 1-800-642-7676 for further assistance on (1) resetting your browser, (2) changing your search engine, (3) disabling unnecessary add-ons/toolbars, and (4) uninstall unnecessary programs on the control panel.
