I get this pop up from trending asking me to pay for some piece of mind auto payment thing. It's very unhelpful and I AM NOT INTERESTED.  I've paid for my program, I shouldn't be hassled with pop ups about spending more money.  I need this to stop. I have turned off every notification in settings.

Hi @eugene.burston and welcome to the community!

The popups that you are continuously getting might be a reminder to enroll to the Auto-Renewal Plan for your subscription. Apologies if this troubles you. You may enable the Mute Mode feature of your Trend Micro program to prevent non-critical pop-ups from appearing on your screen.

Here's the link for the steps on enabling it:

Using the Mute Mode feature of Trend Micro Security

We hope this helps. Let us know if you have further concerns.

Thank you and have a great day! :)

Hi TM_Ian,

I cannot believe that this is your recommended solution : enable Mute M0de every 12 hours.

That's a short term fix for a long term problem. I'm supposed recycle my mute mode every twenty four hours to avoid an advertisement that I have zero interest in that pops up every 2 days?  I know I am not the only user who dislikes this pop up.  Once I acknowledge that I'm not interested I should never see it again.  I'm just going to be honest, If this continues I'm going back to Webroot. I switched just to try something different, webroot NEVER popped up with any kind of ad that I couldn't permanently avoid displaying on my system.  This is not right.

Hello eugene.burston

We understand your frustrations and we do apologize if this process is making you feel this way. You can try to configure the notifications sets on your computer. If you are using a Windows 10 computer.

Go to Settings (Press the Windows key on your keyboard then Click on the Cog Wheel/Gear Icon located on the Windows Menu on the lower left side).
On the Window that will appear, go to Notifications & Actions.
On the options that will appear on the left pane, scroll down until you see the options for Get Notifications From Senders.
Locate the Trend Micro option under it and then click on the slider next to it to have it disabled.

I hope this helps.
