While trying to reduce startup time using Trend Security software, I have lost the mouse connection

Sorry to hear about your mouse issue. What our Reduce Computer Startup Time feature does is delay some software and services from launching during your Windows startup to shorten bootup time. These delayed software and services will be started after some time. Please check if mouse connection is normal after a minute or two after Windows is started. Sometimes, this might require switching the mouse off and on again to regain connection.

If not, if there's a mouse software installation CD or file, please try to reinstall the mouse software to make sure it starts during Windows bootup.
