When we click on quick or full scan it says "preparing to scan" and then does not start.

It says our computer is protected but when we click on quick or full scan it says "preparing to scan" and then does not start. It hangs and we have to close it down with the Task Manager.

This kind of performance issue, scan hangs issue, is usually caused by other security programs or potentially unwanted programs that might be installed on your PC. Kindly check on your Installed Programs list and uninstall any other security programs or potentially unwanted programs on the PC.
